About   elisa

Elisa is happiest when she gets to share the positivity that yoga brings into the lives of others. She started yoga 10 years ago and was immediately fascinated by the grace and dexterity required of a dedicated practice. With the hectic externalities of urban life, yoga was what kept her grounded and most in-tune with herself.

A Vinyasa Flow teacher by training, she identifies most with the breath and movement principles of yoga and is most inclined towards graceful flow transitions. As a teacher, she believes in approaching the asanas from both an intuitive and antomical perspective such that each individual can reap the benefits of yoga in the safest way possible.

As a rock-climber herself, she is naturally drawn to challenging arm balances/inversions and ever ready to incorporate them in her fun classes. In addition, she aspires to teach yoga to athletes of other disciplines for cross-training benefits or to address common muscular imbalances.

When not on her mat, Eli will most likely be found climbing, wandering along a forest trail or simply lounging on a grass patch amidst nature. Her personal practice is one of love, gratitude and compassion. Always the carefree optimist, she believes that true happiness comes to those who allow their most authentic selves to shine.

"To me, yoga represents the dynamic interaction between mind and body, always evolving and purposeful."
